Le Prieuré is a 15th-century ecclesiastical residence located at the foot of the ruins of the Chateau de Châteauneuf du Pape.
Rated 4 stars, it dominates the village due to its location in the upper part of the village and offers sumptuous views over the Rhône valley as far as Avignon. It also boasts a beautiful private garden and swimming pool.
The private garden, in-ground mosaic swimming pool and 250 m2 of living space have just been completely renovated.
The latter features spacious living rooms with a fitted kitchen, a large dining room, a beautiful lounge and a study area, all with ‘haute époque’ furniture in keeping with the historic character of the premises.
The first floor, with its 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, is more refined and contemporary in style. The Master bedroom has a separate area with a sofa bed for children. Each bedroom is equipped with top-of-the-range beds. Two of them have a 2-metre bed, the third a 160 cm bed and the last a 140 cm bed.

There are plenty of places to relax in the garden around an inner courtyard overlooking an indoor games area with pinball, table football and a giant chessboard.
There is also an enclosed bicycle storage area.
Completely enclosed by walls, the garden offers total peace and quiet and guarantees you a stay away from prying eyes.
Its unique location means you can relax in the heart of the village, close to the vineyards and many tourist attractions, including Avignon, Orange, Vaison la Romaine and Mont Ventoux.
Le Prieuré is one of the “Maisons de la Mère Germaine” and is therefore linked to the Michelin-starred restaurant La Mère Germaine and its bistronomic counterpart Le Comptoir de la Mère Germaine, as well as to the hotel of the same name, all located a little further down the village.
As such, access to these other establishments is obviously facilitated: restaurants, the hotel’s relaxation area, breakfasts and secure parking. You will also benefit from a 10% discount on our entire boutique, located just a few metres from the hotel.
