The Hotel Restaurant La Mère Germaine welcomes you to its new, completely redesigned and renovated surroundings in the heart of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Our Michelin-starred restaurant offers two shaded terraces, with exceptional views over the Rhône Valley, the Palais des Papes and the Alpilles mountains in the distance.
Our 12 rooms and suites are equipped to the highest standards.
Guests can also take advantage of our open-access spa, featuring a hammam, jacuzzi and tropical shower.
For all massage requests, please contact our reception team to check availability. Our practitioners will be delighted to offer you a made-to-measure massage during an enchanted interlude.
You will also have the opportunity to discover and book our new seminar room, renovated in 2022 and able to accommodate up to 15 staff, for any type of business event such as a study day or residential seminar.
Our establishment does not have access or rooms for people with reduced mobility.
Dogs are welcome at the hotel at no extra charge.

A culinary institution just over a hundred years old, awarded a star in the 2024 Michelin Guide, where chef Adrien Soro has created a contemporary menu inspired by the flavours of the South of France and offers creative menus inspired by the terroirs of Provence.
Conceived in a spirit of conviviality and sharing by Isabelle and Arnaud Strasser, ‘Le Comptoir de la Mère Germaine’ is the promise of gourmet moments and pleasures for gourmets.
Le Comptoir de la Mère Germaine is a lively place, with an open kitchen and rotisserie. The restaurant’s warm and refined dining room and terrace offer a unique panoramic view of the appellation’s vineyards.
A menu featuring dishes prepared just for you by the young and talented chef Emilio Arriaga and a careful selection of wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the fine terroirs of France will ensure that you have a wonderful time at the table.

La Maison welcomes you to the heart of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with an exceptional view of the Rhône Valley, the Popes’ Palace and the Alpilles mountains in the distance.
Classic room
Charming 15 m² bedroom located on the top floor of our House.
Deluxe room
This large 23 m² room has a King size bed and a bathroom with an Italian shower.
Junior Suite
With their King size bed, our vast 31 and 32 m² Junior Suites feature a small living room and a bathroom with bathtub.
Suite room
Spacious 37 m² suite, it has a large separate living room, a 180 cm wide King size bed, a balcony and a large bathroom.
Luxury suite
This magnificent suite of almost 50 m² on two floors has a living room, a mezzanine with sitting area and sofa bed and a beautiful bedroom on the 3rd floor.
In 1922, Germaine Vion, a cook at the Elysée Palace, arrived in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. She gave a new face to her career by buying the Hôtel Bellevue, created at the very beginning of the century. Her strong personality, her talent in the kitchen and her Parisian connections soon made this house an essential stop-off on the road to Provence.
Today, Isabelle and Arnaud Strasser, who are passionate about wine and gastronomy, have completely renovated the establishment while preserving the soul of this institution. They are breathing new life into the establishment, which recently celebrated its centenary.
